About the role


As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing data and providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You will work with various data sources, including BigQuery, SQL databases, Tableau, Rivery, Google Analytics and Google Sheets. You will also have the opportunity to work with Python, R, or other programming languages for more advanced analysis and automation.


Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Tableau to support business needs.
  • Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from BigQuery.
  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior through Google Analytics, providing insights into performance trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and develop actionable insights.
  • Support data validation, data cleaning, and quality control processes to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions and provide detailed insights.
  • Integrate and manage data from multiple sources, including Google Sheets and external platforms.
  •  Describe the specific responsibilities and functions of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Experience with Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehousing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and APIs for data integration.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or other relevant tools for data analysis and automation.

Compensation mix

  • Fixed base salary
  • Variable performance bonus
