Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d)

ZEAL Iberia, S.L.U., a leading Company in the management of Lotteries through Internet, has a contract with ONCE to provide Marketing Services to manage and maximize the sales and results of the JuegosONCE website (www.juegosonce.es) as well as other digital channels (i.e. mobile, apps).

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d) to ONCE with a strong ability to build complex predictive models and a strategic mindset. You'll report to the Head of Data of ZEAL Iberia.

• Design, develop, and implement predictive models, including purchase models and customer behavior models (churn, retention, propensity, etc.)

• Data extraction and transformation using SQL, including GA4 and BigQuery, in an autonomous and efficient manner.

• Analysis of digital user behavior across our channels (web, app, CRM).

• Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities, with a focus on improving customer experience and commercial performance.

• Communicate complex findings in a clear and effective manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Design and execution of A/B tests and hypothesis testing to validate new strategies.

• Build dashboards and visualizations to monitor predictive KPIs and facilitate the tracking of key metrics.

• Contribute to data strategy and best practices.

• Automate analysis workflows and integrate models into production systems

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role. Proven experience in predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, and data processing.

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficient in predictive modeling using Python, R, SQL.

• Experience with BigQuery, GA4, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.

• Skilled in translating complex data into clear, business-focused insights.

• Strong quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
