The impact you’ll make

  • As the Senior Product Manager, Data Products, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our next-generation data and insights products. By leveraging your deep expertise in quantitative data and its strategic value, combined with machine learning — you will translate our product vision into clear, actionable requirements for Engineering and Data Science teams. You will also serve as the primary advocate for our vendor community, ensuring their needs are reflected in product requirements and deliverables. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in building data and insights products.

What You'll Do

  • Be the voice of our vendor community as we develop requirements and deliverables for Loblaw Data Products

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand user problems and translate them into clear technical specifications for our development teams

  • Perform regular feedback sessions with stakeholders and align Senior Leadership on the roadmap to ensure we are prioritizing the features that will deliver the most value for the Loblaw Digital business

  • Collaborate closely with our Machine Learning Engineers to evaluate technical trade-offs based by customer outcomes.

  • Work jointly with stakeholders across Design, Sales, and Technical teams on AI solutions to deliver intelligent, context-aware data insights

Does this Sound like you?

  • You have 5+ years of product management experience — including building data products

  • You have strong knowledge of product management principles and have a set of tried & tested best practices

  • You have solid Machine Learning background and can collaborate with ML engineers to assess technical trade-offs and deliver high-impact customer solutions.

  • You have a customer first approach to building products, leveraging research and data paired with empathy to build experiences that create customer stickiness

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

  • You are obsessed with testing and experimentation is a core pillar of how you approach product development – aka you aren’t happy unless you’ve learned something after shipping

  • You have a growth mindset – you know there’s always a better way to do things and are willing to disrupt yourself or the status quo

How You’ll Succeed

  • At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture. We believe great people model our values, are authentic, build trust and make connections.
