Joby Overview

Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Overview

The People Analytics Analyst plays a crucial role in helping Joby make data-driven decisions about its most valuable asset: its people. Reporting to the Talent Development & Analytics Lead, this individual is responsible for transforming raw people data into actionable insights that empower our leaders and People team. The core focus of this role is to develop scalable reporting, build insightful dashboards, fulfill ad-hoc analytics requests, and interpret trends across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in data analysis and visualization and has a passion for telling stories with data to drive meaningful organizational change, while actively exploring and championing the use of advanced analytics and AI to shape the future of work at Joby.

  • Data Consultation: Act as an internal consultant, partnering with leaders to understand their challenges, proactively provide data-backed recommendations to inform talent strategies, and advise on the potential of new analytical technologies and AI-driven solutions.
  • Data Integrity: Collaborate with the People Systems team to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of people data used for reporting and analytics, and contribute to data governance practices.
