Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with Databricks experience to join our dynamic team. Senior BI Analyst will collaborate with in-house (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, and Customer Support) and global colleagues. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI while leveraging Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analytics.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Perform high-level data analysis, dashboard interface design, develop user acceptance testing (UAT) criteria, and BI documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable Power BI reports.
• Perform complex data transformations and calculations using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI.
• Optimize reports for performance and scalability, ensuring seamless user experience.
• Leverage Databricks as a data engineering platform for data preparation, transformation, and analysis.
• Work with large datasets, leveraging Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, and Spark SQL for data processing.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure smooth data flow from Databricks to Power BI.
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards, including security, privacy, and compliance in Power BI reports.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Communicate and present analysis to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders across the organization.
• Professionally communicate to technical and non-technical staff: written, oral, and formal presentations.
• Follow best practices in Power BI report design, including UX/UI design principles.
• Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.

Job Requirements

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • At least 4-5 years proven experience developing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working with Databricks in a data engineering or analytics role.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and implementing ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of integrating Databricks with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others.
• Experience
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of programming language such as Python or R with data manipulation and process automation.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX/UI principles.
  • Databricks certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark).
