 Position overview:

As a member of the EU&AF AME team, working with all stakeholders in the identification, creation, development and deployment of AI solutions within the organization while driving measurable value, innovation and responsible use of AI within the organization.

 

 

 

Main Missions:

 

Project planning and execution:

  • Define project scope, timelines, team, resources and milestones for the AI initiatives
  • Manage cross-functional teams including data scientists, data engineers, software developers, suppliers, partners and business stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks and establishing mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate the activities required for the AI/ML lifecycle process including experimentation, deployment and monitoring.

 

Stakeholder Management:

  • Translate technical requirements into clear business objectives and terms for all stakeholders
  • Communicate regularly with the cross-functional teams, including the leadership team, providing a clear overview on the progress, results, roadblocks and next steps of each project. Establish a comprehensive communication plan including steering committees
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all AI project deliverables.

 

  • Process and Documentation:
  • Ensure adherence to any chosen methodology tailored for the AI workflows (agile or hybrid). If there is no standard, definition of the standard along with other AI project managers in the AME team.
  • Maintain proper documentation for the project: business case, cost savings calculation, requirements elicitation, timelines, RASIC, follow-up meetings, deployment roadmaps, quality reviews, risk assessments & strategies and outcomes.
  • Document technical requirements needed for deployment on site. Make sure business processes are updated, training material ready, users trained, and systems set-up defined.
  • Change management – define a workflow for the projects’ customers for new request of features in the projects. Establish a prioritization methodology and regular reviews with affected stakeholders to agree on features to be worked on for next versions.
  • Lessons learned of each project to be accounted for and documented. Best practice sharing with other peers.

 

  • AI readiness and Governance:

 

  • Ensure adherence to data quality standards. Compliance to applicable security regulation, data privacy laws, EU-AI intelligence Act and other applicable according to the region where the solutions are developed and deployed. Collaborate with legal, compliance and data teams to ensure projects meet regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Drive the adoption of responsible AI practices including fairness, explainability and accountability
  • Help develop and implement MLOps best practices and tooling.

 

 

 

 Key Skills and Qualifications:

 

Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of project management experience, with affinity to new technologies and AI/ML projects
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and lifecycle (data acquisition, model development, training, evaluation, deployment)
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel within the role.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office. Familiar with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello or similar.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Maths,  Business or related field

 

Preferred Qualitfications :

  • Project management experience with project budget control greater than €2m.
  • At least 2 years managing AI/ML projects
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry.
  • PMP, Agile or Scrum certified.
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, EU-AI Act.
  • Understanding of CE certification requirements.
