Requirements

Job title: Content Manager
Contract type: Fixed-term contract (6-12 months), full time
Location: London (hybrid, 2+ days a week in the office)
Reporting line: Content Lead

Summary of the role but also what our team are up to:
The content team is primarily responsible for the creation, maintenance and optimisation of all copy and imagery across our owned channels, in multiple languages. ‘Inform’ content involves how we merchandise our products and attractions, how we market them, CRM comms, creating seasonal/tactical campaign content and supporting on the launching of new products. ‘Inspire’ content largely involves creating and managing both AI and in-person content for our extensive travel blog and Trip Planner tool. As Content Manager, you will contribute to all major projects related to both ‘Inform’ and ‘Inspire’ content.

What will you be responsible for / helping us to do?

·       Digital Merchandising: Analyse the website/app content to understand how we might improve the customer journey and provide data-informed suggestions to boost engagement and conversion rates.

·       Content accuracy & comprehension quality: ensure content edits are implemented accurately, and the quality of web copy is maintained. Use productivity tools to manage tasks. Liaise with stakeholders to understand content needs.

·       Tone of voice: help maintain consistent tone of voice across other revenue teams (business development, performance marketing, PR/social).

·       Performance copy and CRO: Support the acquisition team with content creation/optimization for paid search, paid social, display, etc. Provide copy ideas and quality control for copy used in merchandising experiments, user testing, and site/app changes.

·       Editorial content: Support with writing new articles, editing existing ones, or developing prompts for AI-assisted efforts.

·       Measurement and reporting: analysing the success of our content efforts using software like Tableau and Amplitude, to help inform our strategy going forward.

What skills do you have that are essential in this role?
Essential:

·       Good knowledge of merchandising best practices to enhance a customer journey for optimal conversion and UX.

·       5+ years writing experience with a strong portfolio to show for it. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable with snappy sales copy and long-form editorial.

·       Good SEO knowledge.

·       Knowledge of website analytics tools.

·    Creative and problem-solving mindset.

·       Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and solve problems autonomously.

·      Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

·       Confident proposing new ideas and initiatives.

Desirable:

Travel industry experience.
