The Position

Join our Data Analytics & Engineering team as a Data Engineer Intern and play a key role in building state-of-the-art data solutions, gaining hands-on experience in a cutting-edge, collaborative environment that values growth, innovation, and impact


This is a hands-on role focused on learning and development. Under the guidance of experienced and senior engineers, you will help optimize the state-of-the-art data infrastructure that powers our operations. 

Our team operates within a modern data mesh architecture, using Data Vault 2.0 modeling and a Scrum-based workflow to deliver reusable, trusted, and actionable data solutions. You will have the opportunity to offer feedback, help redesign workflows, and challenge existing processes constructively. Your contributions will directly support data-driven decision-making and help create value at scale across the organization.


The opportunity

  • Data Pipeline Support: Assist in the design and building of scalable data pipelines and storage solutions for real-time and batch processing. 

  • Data Product Development: Support the development of high-quality data products that follow FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles. 

  • Data Integration: Collaborate with process experts to understand data landscapes and assist in acquiring, ingesting, and processing data from diverse sources into Big Data platforms like Snowflake. 

  • Data Preparation: Help develop reusable pipelines and ensure data is prepared for advanced analytics. 

  • Process Optimization: Contribute to initiatives that permanently optimize processes to increase quality and efficiency standards. 

  • Innovation: Apply innovative techniques to deliver impact and stay updated with technology trends. 

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  • Demonstrable interest in data engineering, shown through academic coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.

  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 

  • Knowledgeable with programming languages and data engineering tools such as Python, R and SQL. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and familiarity with data modeling and ETL concepts.

Working part time at least 32 hours per week is possible.

This internship is not suitable for thesis writing.
