Strategy & Analytics, Budgeting, Data and Reporting

• Implement & execute policies, procedures and guidelines set forth by group BI & Analytics team and ensure the team complies with the same
• Implement governance to manage the consolidated OpCo BI & Analytics strategy, budgets and financials, under direction from the Head of BI & CVM.
• Cascade the Group Fintech budget, analytics and reporting framework in the function, under direction from the Head of BI & CVM.
• Scout opportunities and implement ways to continuously improve OpCo BI & Analytics Executive Management Reporting

 

BI and Analytics Operations

• Drive elicitation and review business reporting and analytic requirements from the business groups through formal interviews or facilitated sessions and translate into technical designs for OpCo business intelligence implementation
• Develop BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards, analytic solutions), in collaboration with the team, to provide data necessary to effectively make business decisions and measure goal attainment and overall performance
• Undertake work-stream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions that emphasize speed to market results
• Lead data science, engineering and visualization programs in the OpCo in order to make decisions based on insights from data
• Build BI capability in the OpCo and inject best practices 
• Guide business areas in identifying new data needs and delivery mechanisms for reporting information as well as self-service solutions
• Work with business areas to adapt their business processes to effectively use enterprise data sources for information and analytical needs
• Other tasks and duties, as assigned

Education:

• 4-year Business Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science (or related) Degree
• Master’s in business administration is advantageous 

Experience:

• Minimum 4 to 6 years relevant experience in a similar position with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Experience in Fintech, banking or financial services is preferred
• Working experience in BI,  customer insight or data analytics related senior role
• Knowledge of modern Big Data platforms and Open-Source solutions to database, data analysis, and data management 
• Deep knowledge and experience in data reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Deep knowledge and experience in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, SAS, etc.)
