Summary: 

The Senior Analyst, Pricing, will report to the Senior Manager, Pricing and Value Creation, and provide support in executing strategic, quantitative, and technological solutions to support robust decision-making. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to fulfill responsibilities, including reporting on promotion performance, conducting profitability analyses for new products, services, and business initiatives, and implementing pricing-related strategies and programs. The Senior Analyst will organize, synthesize, and validate large volumes of transactional data related to sales, installations, and the existing customer database. They will need to understand data flows and system interfaces across multiple systems to manage processes effectively and support downstream business partners. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will serve as a strategic support team member for company-wide initiatives impacting sales, marketing, pricing, and profitability. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support margin management and value creation initiatives for existing customers.  
  • Develop campaign and offer strategies for various existing customer channels and segments to maximize customer lifetime value.  
  • Support go-to-market activities impacting all ADT existing customer transaction types.  
  • Collaborate with IT and Customer Experience (CX) teams to maintain analysis, reporting, execution, and quality assurance (QA) of price changes for the entire customer base, including recurring and ad-hoc price adjustments not driven by retention. Support reporting, analytics, and testing for this function.  
  • Analyze and assist in developing pricing programs that increase sales, reduce attrition, and improve profitability.  
  • Capture, integrate, and analyze sales and installation transactions to support ongoing and ad-hoc pricing decisions.  
  • Monitor ongoing pricing performance and identify new opportunities.  
  • Present key findings to business leaders with recommendations based on data-driven insights.  
  • Develop data and financial models to support improvements in productivity, profitability, and/or retention.  
  • Create and manage testing and performance views as needed for strategic initiatives.  
  • Support assigned tasks to resolve operational and profitability issues as needed.  
  • Partner with IT to develop and enhance data strategies and tools to support the functions listed above. 
  • Supports efforts in BI and performance reporting  
  • Provides ad hoc analytics support to various departments as needed (Sales Strategy, Finance, IT etc.) 

Education:                   

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.  

 Experience:                    

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years in finance and/or data analytics or GTM customer management, preferably within retail security or subscription-based business; both business-to-consumer and business-to-business.    

Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft Office (full suite), SharePoint, Salesforce, SQL, and cloud-platform data mining. Python experience is a plus.  
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.  
  • Experience with subscription-based business models preferred.  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.  
  • Strong problem-solving and financial modeling skills.  
  • Knowledge of pricing tools, techniques, and methodologies.  
  • Solid understanding of sales, marketing, finance, and product development.  
  • Strong quantitative mindset with a natural comfort with numbers.  
  • Comfortable querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets.  
  • Ability to see the big picture, make thoughtful trade-offs, and focus on what matters most.  
  • Deep understanding of financial valuation metrics, such as NPV, IRR, and DCF.  
  • Ability to assess pricing models using statistical and mathematical analysis.  
  • Skill in breaking down complex data and analyses for non-technical audiences.  
  • Ability to respectfully challenge decisions with data to prevent suboptimal outcomes.
