Yoto’s Product Team

The Family Engagement team is one of our “Mission Teams” at Yoto. These are cross-functional teams designed to operate as autonomously as possible. Family Engagement is all about deepening the relationship families have with Yoto – helping them get the most out of their experience and stay engaged over time.

There’s a big opportunity to create more meaningful moments across the Yoto journey – whether that’s joining the Yoto Club, discovering new features, or sharing Yoto with friends. Our focus is on making sure every family sees the value in what we offer – and keeps coming back for more.

As we grow our global community, we’re focused on building features that boost long-term engagement – increasing Yoto Club membership, encouraging successful referrals, and helping families unlock the full magic of Yoto through every interaction.

What you’ll be doing
:

    • Help families get more out of Yoto by leading the product strategy for Family Engagement.
    • Own and evolve the experience around key touchpoints in the family lifecycle, including referrals, Club membership, and core account services.
    • Be an internal champion for Yoto Club – working to increase active membership by shaping the subscription experience, experimenting with offers, and improving how we communicate its value.
    • Optimise our referrals journey – making it seamless and rewarding to invite others to Yoto, and exploring what prompts our most engaged families to share the love.
    • Partner with engineering to steward core family services (e.g. user authentication, account formation, family library and settings) that power experiences across the business.
    • Work across design, data, and commercial teams to identify and address friction points – from funnel drop-offs to unclear user journeys – and deliver measurable improvements.
    • Explore how AI can be used to boost customer experience (e.g. personalisation, prompts) and enhance PM workflows (e.g. smarter testing, insight generation).
    • Collaborate closely with marketing and commercial stakeholders to ensure engagement features are aligned with broader go-to-market strategies.
    • Support the scaling of our internal systems as we expand globally – making sure the foundations are in place for consistent, secure, and family-friendly experiences.
    • Shape the team’s roadmap, processes, and metrics – helping build a healthy rhythm of prioritisation, delivery, and iteration.

What you’ll bring:

  • A proven track record as a versatile product manager – comfortable juggling both external-facing features and internal systems.
  • Experience working on subscription products – from driving adoption to increasing engagement and retention.
  • Confident remodelling and optimising subscription offerings, including pricing, packaging, and messaging.
  • Sharp product thinking around referrals and growth – with creative ideas for making referral flows feel seamless, valuable, and native to the user journey.
  • Experience supporting internal services such as authentication, account management, or user identity systems.
  • Familiarity with configuring CRM systems to support lifecycle journeys – bonus points if you’ve used Braze.
  • Excited by the potential of AI – both in elevating customer experience and in supercharging your own workflow as a PM.
  • Comfortable working across the full stack – from backend APIs to front-end experiences – and understanding how internal architecture shapes user outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills – you know how to dig into user behaviour and spot the leaks in a journey. Bonus points for SQL experience.
  • Confident working directly with users to uncover insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing complex roadmaps across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – particularly with commercial and marketing partners – and able to drive alignment around shared outcomes.
  • A collaborative and thoughtful communicator who brings clarity, curiosity, and momentum to the team.
  • Excited to build tools and experiences that help families deepen their connection with Yoto – and each other.
