Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, support in the following areas:
- Work in collaboration with test engineers and PCB designers to apply simulation methodologies and tools to verify and optimize PCB designs for all of ADI’s business units
- Generate Verilog simulation testbench and models, initiate simulation, identify faults, and suggest PCB design improvements
- Perform signal and power integrity, thermal analysis on PCB designs
- Develops scripts in Python or other scripting language (Perl, Shell, TCL) to automate and enhance workflow
- Promote technical and personal growth through active participation in webinars, simulations classes and conferences
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science / Master’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Good understanding on the fundamentals of electronic devices and circuit theory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across engineering disciplines to solve problems
- Appetite for continuous learning
- Willing to travel abroad for events and trainings (as required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with schematic and layout tools, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis
- Experience with mixed signal circuit simulation and modelling
- Knowledge on PCB materials and stack-up
- Solid background on transmission line theory and in-depth knowledge of electromagnetics
- General knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
- Robust problem-solving skills with understanding of basic statistics concepts
- Familiarity with laboratory bench tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Familiarity with automated testing equipment
