We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join one of our client projects and play a key role in designing and delivering scalable analytics solutions. You’ll work at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence—driving insight by transforming data into accessible, high-impact Power BI dashboards. This role is ideal for someone with deep hands-on Power BI expertise, capable of partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver user-centric, trusted analytics products that tell a clear data story.

What you’ll do

• Engage & discover – meet with business stakeholders to capture analytic requirements (functional, data, and non-functional requirements), define success criteria, and translate questions into technical topics for the team to collaborate on the solution design.
• Inspire and storytelling - create wireframes, mock-ups, and visuals to show the art of the possible to stakeholders to validate or gather feedback.
• Co-develop dashboards – partner with users to create and iterate on Power BI reports & models; run feedback sessions, measure adoption, and refine until the story is clear.
• Model for insight – design data models, lake-house tables, and semantic layers that keep data fast, trusted, and easy to explore and document for Data catalog & Data architects
• Contribute to the ETL life-cycle – build, schedule, transformation pipelines in Azure Databricks / Spark, using DBT (SQL and Python).
• Experienced with DataOps/DevOps best practice – code versioning of ETL pipelines and Power BI (reports / projects), and implement CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate on strategy – work together with the Data & Analytics team to align technical choices with the wider data-platform roadmap.

Requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering, including significant hands-on BI experience and dashboarding work with business users (Power BI, semantic models, reports, Fabric).
• Deep expertise in Data (Lakehouse, data marts, warehouses) with strong SQL and Python skills.
• Proven track record designing and maintaining DBT-based transformation layers and modular, production-grade code.
• Solid understanding of dimensional, lake-house, and data-vault modelling techniques and performance optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous business questions into data products through iterative collaboration and storytelling with data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts—Git, CI/CD pipelines

If you're ready to make an impact through data and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting — we’d love to hear from you. Apply now!
