About the role:

We're looking for a GTM Engineer to architect the revenue systems that will power Tempo's next phase of growth. This is one of the most critical roles in modern SaaS—you'll build automated systems that generate pipeline at scale while creating superior, personalized customer experiences.

In this high-impact position, you'll design and implement the technical infrastructure that transforms our go-to-market strategy into predictable, scalable revenue. You'll be the technical architect of our revenue engine, using cutting-edge tools like n8n and Clay to build systems that feel like magic to our customers and our team.

What you’ll do:

AI-Powered Revenue Generation

  • Build autonomous AI SDRs that research prospects, craft personalized messages, and manage follow-up sequences at scale

  • Develop sophisticated lead scoring and enrichment pipelines using Clay data providers and waterfall enrichment methodology

  • Create AI-powered personalization engines using LLMs for dynamic content generation across all touchpoints

  • Design intent-based trigger systems that identify and act on buying signals automatically

  • Implement in-app and chat automations that guide users through their journey and capture expansion opportunities

Data Pipeline & Intelligence Systems

  • Develop RAG applications and vector databases (using Supabase) for intelligent content retrieval and account intelligence

  • Create real-time dashboards tracking pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and revenue efficiency metrics

  • Implement predictive models for churn prevention and expansion opportunity identification

  • Design automated lead routing logic that considers rep expertise, capacity, and historical performance

  • Create customer lifecycle triggers that identify upsell opportunities and prevent churn

System Integration & Automation Architecture

  • Design and implement a composable GTM architecture using n8n as the central orchestration platform, connecting tools in our revenue stack

  • Build event-driven workflows that respond to buyer signals in real-time (e.g., pricing page visits trigger instant enrichment and personalized outreach)

  • Create reusable automation patterns and maintain APIs

Who you are:

Core Technical Expertise

  • 4+ years of experience in GTM engineering, revenue operations, or similar technical roles in B2B SaaS

  • Expert-level proficiency with n8n: Complex workflow design, custom code nodes, API integrations, error handling, and performance optimization

  • Advanced Clay mastery: Waterfall enrichment strategies, AI-powered research, custom formulas, and integration with 20+ data providers

  • Prompt Engineering excellence: Proven ability to design effective prompts for AI SDRs, content generation, and automated research

  • RAG/Vector database experience: Building intelligent retrieval systems using Supabase, Pinecone, or similar platforms

Technical Foundation

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/Python for custom automation logic and data manipulation

  • SQL expertise for complex data analysis and reporting (intermediate to advanced)

  • REST API design and webhook management for building custom integrations

  • Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing

  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality management

Business & Strategic Acumen

  • Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys and revenue metrics

  • Experience owning revenue KPIs with measurable impact on pipeline and conversion

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes

  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration and project leadership

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms like Braze, Iterable, or Hubspot

  • Familiarity with Segment or similar CDPs for unified customer data management

  • Experience with Jira and Atlassian ecosystem (given our target market and product integration)

  • Experience with data orchestration tools (dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte)

  • Background in developer tools, PLG motions, or technical products

  • Experience with advanced analytics platforms (Looker, Tableau, Domo)

  • Previous experience at high-growth SaaS companies ($10M-$250M ARR range)
