Monday to Thursday in the office with Fridays off (full salary maintained) - this new 4-day work week is a 6-month trial, starting 19th May 2025.

As a AI Implementation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of AI solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders and engineers across the business, learning how to integrate AI and automation technologies to enhance operational efficiencies. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills in configuring AI tools, assisting with workflow creation, and contributing to the lifecycle of AI data products from initial setup to retirement, all while taking direction and being supported by the AI Enablement Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Tool Configuration: Assist in configuring, managing, and maintaining AI tools such as AgentSpace, Vertex AI, and Firebase, including their connectors and integrations.
• Workflow Support: Support the design and optimization of N8N workflows to automate AI-driven processes.
• Custom Solution Development: Help develop custom tools and solutions to address specific implementation challenges under guidance.
• Model Deployment: Collaborate with data scientists to assist in the deployment and initial optimization of machine learning models.
• System Monitoring: Learn to monitor AI systems' health and performance, ensuring robust orchestration and observability.
• Integration Assistance: Support the seamless integration of AI features into existing products and services.
• DevOps Learning: Gain experience with DevOps practices for deploying, managing, and optimizing machine learning models.
• Foundation Models: Learn to manipulate foundation models, practice prompt engineering, and support conversational AI chatbot development.
• Team Collaboration: Establish strong relationships across various teams, supporting customer operations, and contributing to business outcomes.
• RAG Pipeline Support: Assist in implementing and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for enhanced AI application performance.
• Model Evaluation: Learn to evaluate and select appropriate pre-trained models for fine-tuning based on specific task requirements and performance metrics.
• Model Fine-tuning: Support the fine-tuning of pre-trained language models using custom datasets to improve accuracy and relevance for specific use cases.
• Database Management: Assist in managing and maintaining vector databases for efficient retrieval of relevant information in RAG pipelines.

 Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Technical Skills: Foundational understanding of data manipulation, AI, and data science concepts.
• Programming: Basic to intermediate programming skills in Python or similar languages.
• AI Knowledge: Basic understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI model development principles.
• Familiarity: Familiarity with concepts like Security AI Frameworks, GitHub, TensorFlow, and basic code & integration testing.
• Emerging Tech: Eagerness to learn about Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, and Prompt Engineering.
• Problem Solving: High aptitude for learning, problem-solving, and a keen interest in applying AI to real-world challenges.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.
• System Operations: desirable to have some exposure to or willingness to learn about CI/CD orchestration and monitoring AI systems.
