What You’ll Work On: 

• Leverage expertise in virtualization to perform network design and integration of products to support focused research efforts and projects.  

• Deploy and maintain small and large-scale telecommunication environments for testing and development.  

• Troubleshoot system connectivity and registration issues.

• Work collaboratively with a team of researchers, data scientists, developers, and telecommunications experts.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in system administration

• Experience with enterprise Linux management, including Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, Solaris, or Ubuntu 

• Experience with operations and administration of virtualization infrastructure  

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, or Ruby

• Knowledge of cloud or containerized technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtualization, or software-defined networking 

• Knowledge of telecommunications networks and components 

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with administering Kubernetes Clusters 

• Experience with VCenter and ESXi Clusters

• Experience with Open vSwitch

• Experience with data analytics tools such a Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Kibana 

• Experience with telecommunications networks and components, including 3G, 4G, or 5G 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
