We’re looking for a Founding Designer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a senior member of the design team, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our user experience across various products and services. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to create high-impact, innovative solutions that align with business goals and deliver exceptional user value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UX Strategy & Vision:

    • Lead the development of comprehensive UX strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and market trends.

    • Define user experience goals and KPIs, tracking progress to ensure measurable impact.

    • Conduct market and competitive research to inform strategic design decisions and long-term roadmap planning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with engineers and other stakeholders to shape product direction, define requirements, and prioritize user-centered solutions.

    • Communicate design strategies, vision, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • End-to-End Design Leadership:

    • Oversee the full design lifecycle, from concept through to delivery, while balancing strategic objectives with user needs and technical constraints.

    • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with a focus on holistic design solutions.

    • Ensure design consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all touchpoints within the product ecosystem.

  • Research & Insights Integration:

    • Synthesize user and stakeholder feedback, product analytics, and market research to refine design direction and strategy.

    • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize user experience.

  • Design Systems & Process Optimization:

    • Champion the evolution and scalability of design systems, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all platforms.

    • Advocate for design best practices and streamline design processes to ensure maximum impact on product development cycles.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 6-8 years of experience in UX design or a similar role, with a proven track record in leading complex projects.

  • Strong expertise in Figma and design systems.

  • Deep understanding of UX strategy, interaction design, information architecture, and business alignment.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design strategy, decisions, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead by example and build strong cross-functional relationships.

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, drive consensus, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, LLMs, and their integration into user experience strategies.

  • Expertise in driving the development and optimization of design systems and processes.

  • A passion for staying ahead of UX trends and championing innovation within the team.
