Job Purpose 🎯
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our high-performing Data Enablement team - a curious and impact-driven cross-functional team that thrives on solving problems, ensuring data quality and governance across our customer and events data, and turning smart ideas into reality. From working on projects to improve our product, ensuring a high level of quality over our events and internal datasets, this role keeps the engine running while actively levelling it up.
You’ll be at the core of it all: working across the latest tech, collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our core data. You’ll use your Python expertise and SQL skills to untangle tricky data issues, automate manual processes, and help us scale with confidence and speed.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities 🔑
- Partner with leadership to design, implement, and monitor robust data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
- Execute on-demand data comparisons and deep-dive analyses to surface actionable insights from both prospective and existing customer usage patterns.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Project teams to translate customer data and usage trends into recommendations that enhance product features and user experience.
- Advise the Sales team at each stage, from initial outreach through to deal close, by delivering data-driven insights and stories.
- Lead initiatives to embed analytics and data-driven decision-making more deeply into PredictHQ’s product roadmap and feature set.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to champion modern, AI-centred solutions that optimise, automate, strengthen and improve our data quality and coverage.
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies ⭐️
- Love getting stuck into complex problems and coming out the other side with something faster, smarter, and more scalable
- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Understanding of Data Quality and Data Governance frameworks.
- Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner to various stakeholders.
Nice to have ⚡️
- Familiarity or experience with applied AI in the Data Analytics and Automation space.

- Based in Auckland, this role follows our hybrid approach - combining the flexibility of working from home with one to two days a week in the office to foster team connection and collaboration.
