This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a Program Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team that will assist their customer in efforts to develop Verification and Validation Tools for AI/ML algorithms and capabilities.  The ideal candidate will have a technical background, to include with AI/ML applications.  The candidate will also need excellent communication skills and extensive experience as a program manager

Key Responsibilities:

• As the Program Manager, you will:
  • Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establish and coordinate engineering and technical, integration and test and evaluation efforts.
  • Establish program budget and milestones and monitor adherence to costs schedules.
  • Facilitates regular, professional team meetings across program team with active follow-up action items

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in engineering Program Management leading research and development efforts and developing concepts for trusted artificial intelligence, machine learning, or autonomy algorithms
• TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a Poly
• Experience leading multidisciplinary, hybrid, and remote development teams on technical projects, such as AI/ML algorithm design and autonomous software development and integration
• Experience documenting and presenting technical ideas and progress to senior leaders and socializing team accomplishments internally and externally through journal publications and conference participation
• Experience with Python or C++ and machine learning software implementation using machine learning libraries, including TensorFlow, Pytorch, or Keras
• Deep familiarity with software development processes & proficiency in tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e. Gantt charts, risk matrix, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.)
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, exploring and designing novel methods and algorithms and engaging with academic researchers

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
