Job Description
Join us as Tax Data Analytics Intern at our international headquarters in Amsterdam, starting in September 2025. In this internship, you will support the transformation of tax processes through data-driven insights and automation. You will work closely with and receive guidance from tax and finance professionals across direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing domains to help standardize reporting, improve data quality, and contribute to the development of scalable analytics tools. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international tax environment, while also giving you the chance to learn new skills and immerse yourself in the world of coffee and tea.
Your key activities will be:
- Assist in building (on) the Data Infrastructure relevant to the JDEP Group Tax function by including additional data sources and implementing data ingestion workflows to streamline tax processes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of custom BI dashboards and data models to support tax compliance, increase audit readiness and report to senior management and investors.
- Assist in design and implementation of data gathering, to increase global standardization and simplification.
- Support in the implementation of data quality monitoring procedures.
- Contributing to ongoing Tax projects focused on process optimization and automation.
- Collaborate with the broader Tax team and Finance & IT community.

Qualifications
Are you bursting with fresh ideas and a hunger for learning? We want you!
Here's what we're looking for:
- Academic Program: You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in the field of Finance, Business, Economics, Tax Law, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Econometrics.
- Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and you are fluent in Excel. VLOOKUP,INDEX-MATCH and SUM-IFs are not foreign words to you. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Personal traits: You are a team-player with interest in finance, strong communication skills, ability to work in a cross-functional, international team, an analytical mindset and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship, preferably from 1 September 2025 to 28 February 2026.
- Availability: You can join the internship for 4 or 5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

- Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's.
- You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student
enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
