Learn more.We’re seeking two analytical professionals to join our team as an Accounts Data Analyst. These newly created roles will support Ventia’s recently secured Field Module contract with NBN Co.

You’ll play a key role in revenue recognition, claim validation, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term project (5 years + 3-year extension) in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Validate and prepare data for revenue recognition and client claim submissions in line with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.
- Monitor and manage aged claims, rejections, and underclaims to maintain a healthy ledger and support cashflow forecasting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI for financial and operational insights.
- Partner with commercial, finance, and project teams to resolve disputes and optimise revenue outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement by mentoring junior team members and contributing to process enhancements.
What we’re looking for
- Strong data analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP. This is essential.
- Proficiency in SAP is desirable; however training can be provided.
- Experience in accounts receivable, project accounting, or similar operational finance roles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage high-pressure workloads and meet multiple deadlines.
