As Head of Governance, Management & Consulting (m/f/d), you will develop policies, models, and strategies to enable Telefónica Germany’s journey toward becoming an AI-First company by 2030 – efficient, compliant, and impact-oriented. You bring structure to complexity, steer value creation, and shape the future.

What to expect

• #Governance Framework: Development and implementation of a comprehensive Data & AI governance framework, including policies, standards, and control mechanisms across the entire organization
• #Compliance: Ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance such as GDPR, EU AI Act, fairness, transparency, and explainability in all AI initiatives
• #Strategic Roadmap: Steering of the strategic Data & AI roadmap including OKRs, aligned with the corporate strategy and AI-First vision
• #Operating Model: Design and implementation of a sustainable hub-and-spoke model for Data & AI, effectively connecting business and technology units
• #Advisory Function: Strategic sparring partner for business and tech stakeholders in the responsible and value-oriented use of data and AI
• #Financial Steering: Leadership of financial steering of AI & Analytics, including budget planning, investment evaluation, and value tracking focused on revenue and cost effects
• #Portfolio Management: Responsibility for the entire AI and analytics project portfolio with a focus on disciplined execution and measurable impact

What you bring

• You hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) in #Business, #Computer Science, #Data Science or related fields
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in designing #Data or #AI Governance, #Digital Strategy or enterprise-wide #Transformation
• You have in-depth knowledge in #AI Governance, #Data Management, #Compliance (e.g. #GDPR, #EU AI Act), and #Risk Management
• You bring solid experience in #Financial Steering, #Business Cases and value tracking in tech-driven environments
• You have successfully implemented cross-functional #Operating Models, ideally based on the hub-and-spoke principle
• You lead with clarity across organizational boundaries and convince stakeholders in both business and tech
• You possess strong communication, facilitation, and strategic skills – in both #German and #English, #Spanish is a plus
