ÂGovernment Contract Services (GCS) helps businesses that contract with and participate in programs sponsored by US state and federal government entities. We help not just with matters of understanding and complying with federal and state contract/program obligations, but also with driving well-informed operational decisions to maintain competitive advantage in the market without compromising on our clientsâ compliance obligations.Â

A key component of GCSâs services offerings is integrating and leveraging technology and data analytics throughout our processes. We have, and are expanding, our team of digital professionals who support new analytics tool development, user-facing application support, and project-based data analytics and visualization.

The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our Forensics clients.

Our GCS team supports industry-leading clients and develops innovative recommendations to some of the most challenging compliance risks and market opportunities that they face. Your key responsibilitiesÂ
Itâs no exaggeration to say no two projects will be alike. Youâll use your skills across the entire spectrum of contract services: allowable costs, audits, business systems, investigations, and government pricing, to name a few. Itâs all about using your technical skills to creatively assess and resolve our clientsâ needs and managing engagement teams to drive execution on engagements.

- Manage the key components of a portfolio of GCS projects, including strategy, planning and execution
- Take full responsibility for high quality execution and timely delivery of specific parts of a client engagement
- Use technology to continually learn and share your knowledge with other team members
- Cultivate and develop long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients
- Gain a deep understanding of clientsâ businesses in order to provide tailored insights and solutions
- Foster relationships with professionals from other EY service lines, actively seeking teaming opportunities
- Drive ongoing process improvements for contract bidding and estimating systems
- Perform assessments and develop compliance programs to meet relevant requirements
- Coach and provide continuous feedback to your team members, set challenging goals and ensure they t have the necessary skills, knowledge and opportunities to advance
- Maintain a strong focus on the client, anticipating and promptly addressing their needs and requests

To qualify for the role, you must have
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 to 8 yearsâ relevant work experience
- Ability to analyze complex problems and identify solutions
- In depth experience with US state or federal regulatory programs, preferably Medicare, Medicaid, Federal Supply Schedules, or the 340B Drug Pricing Program
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Â
- A proven record of success in data analysis and data science, and an in-depth knowledge of SQL (preferably MS SQL Server) and other leading database technologiesÂ
- A working knowledge of ETL processes, including usage of tools such as SSISÂ
- A working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or MS PowerBIÂ
- Strong written and verbal skills, including the confidence and clarity to communicate complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating resources effectively
- Achieved or be capable of obtaining a relevant professional certification
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driverâs license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations

Ideally youâll also have
- A relevant professional certification, such as a CPA, CFA, CFE, EnCE, CAP, CCEP or IGP
- Knowledge and experience with EY Next technology
- Knowledge and experience with RPA and tools such as Blue PrismÂ
- Knowledge of various programming languages (C# and Python preferred)Â
- A working knowledge of ERP systems like SAPÂ

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youâll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $76,200 to $174,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,400 to $197,900.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
