Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AWS Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures, ensuring they align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop best practices for cloud architecture, including governance, security, and cost management.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance and costs, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Lead the migration of existing applications and data to the AWS cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with AWS service updates and industry trends to leverage new technologies effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams regarding cloud architecture and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AWS Architect or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g. Step Functions, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices and design patterns.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics services on AWS.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
