Opportunity Overview 

You will be part of a team of skilled engineers for which the main focus is on motion generation and modeling of robot arms. We are pushing the boundaries for what is possible to achieve with the given hardware of existing and future robot designs. Initially your task will be to develop a set of standard Python tools for the team, so it will be faster to analyze data from a given error scenario and thereby understand the root cause for a problem. We imagine that this is mainly a data visualization task, but it might evolve based on your skillset and what we learn. 

 

As part of the Transformers Team, you will:

  • Assist in the design, execution, and documentation of software test cases
  • Support verification and validation activities for safety-critical features
  • Help maintain and improve automated test frameworks
  • Analyze test results and report bugs or anomalies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools

We are looking for someone who can recognize them self in a large part of these points: 

  • At least two years into an education within Software Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field 
  • Familiarity with data handling in Python, e.g. Pandas, matplotlib, plotly express, robotics toolbox 
  • Some experience with these things is a plus: C++ or similar programming languages, ROS2, RViz 
  • Interest in robotics and data visualization 
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
