About the Role
As a Master Data Team Leader you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence across Essity’s global Customer/Vendor Master Data domain. Leading a team of 12 people across Lisbon and Santa Fe, you’ll ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and stakeholder alignment in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on coordination, offering the opportunity to shape data practices, lead continuous improvement, and support business-critical decisions.

What You Will Do
Own and deliver on goals for an assigned master data area within the master data service line.
Ensure all operational requirements are met for the assigned master data area, maintaining accuracy, according to service level agreements.
Implement best practices in the team and drive continuous improvement of master data tools and processes.
Build strong networks and contribute to cross-functional teams and projects to support business priorities.
Support the Master Data Manager in shaping and evolving the master data organization to better meet Essity’s business needs.
Lead, coach, and develop your team to ensure high performance, engagement, and continuous growth.
Who You Are
University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Master Data, Procurement, or Customer Service, with proven leadership or informal team coordination.
Hands-on experience in data management or related fields, with a good understanding of master data operations.
Proficient in SAP (preferably SAP S4/MDG) and good understanding of excel and other data management systems.
Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the flexibility to adjust team priorities as needed.
Strong communication, analytical, and proactive, skills.
Fluent in English - All Applicants are requested to deliver their CV in English language.
