About the job:
- The North America Finance Reporting and Analytics Lead is responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making by developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and financial reporting tools. This role ensures the integrity and efficiency of data flows by managing key databases and maintaining a Python-based interface that integrates multiple data sources. Acting as a strategic partner within the Finance team, the position supports performance monitoring, forecasting, and business insights across the North America region.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards to support financial reporting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making across the North America region.
- Design, manage, and optimize financial databases and data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability for reporting and analytics.
- Maintain and enhance a Python-based data integration program, serving as the interface between internal databases and external data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data related to financial reporting, including timely updates and alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Digital, Commercial, and Marketing) to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement data governance best practices, including documentation, version control, and data quality checks to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Lead the automation of recurring reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy and timeliness of financial insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies or performance bottlenecks in reports or data pipelines.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in data analytics, visualization, and financial systems to continuously improve reporting capabilities and technical infrastructure.
- Train and support finance team members in the use of Power BI and other analytical tools, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

About you:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models, with advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, particularly for data integration, automation, and transformation tasks. Knowledge of Pandas, Numpy and SQLAlchemy packages.
- Experience managing and maintaining relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar). Snowflake experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, Claude) and usage to optimize and automatize processes.
- Experience working with SAP (S4 HANA). Advanced ERP knowledge is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Languages: English fluency is a must.
