Intern, Advisory - Water

Job Summary

As an Advisory Intern at TYLin, you will support the delivery of strategic consulting projects by leveraging data visualization and analytics tools—primarily Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You’ll work closely with consultants and project leads to transform data into actionable insights, contribute to client deliverables, and support innovation across infrastructure and utility-focused projects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do:

• Support project teams in analyzing and visualizing data to inform strategic recommendations.
• Help prepare client-facing materials including presentations, reports, and workshop content.
• Participate in internal and client meetings, taking notes and tracking action items.

• Clean, transform, and model data from various sources using Microsoft Fabric.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards that communicate key insights clearly and effectively.
• Support scenario modeling and business case development under guidance from senior team members

What You Bring to the Team

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment
• Strong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior
• Commitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements

Your Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to infrastructure, utilities, or public sector projects.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis.
