JOB SUMMARY

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across Highmark's systems. This role involves analyzing data, developing and implementing data quality controls, and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity and support data-driven decision-making.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the organizational efforts related to low to moderately complex data quality of the Analytic Data Platform.
  • Serve as a liaison between the users of the Analytic Platform and the source system owners when data issues are discovered.
  • Work with data owners to establish, maintain, and distribute definitions meaningful metrics for identifying and reporting on data anomalies.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing, Healthcare Informatics or Management Information Systems

Substitutions

  • 6 years progressive and relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor degree

  • None

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 3 - 5 years in Data Quality or Data Analytics

Preferred

  • 1 - 3 years in the Healthcare Industry
  • 1 - 3 years in Data Warehousing
  • 1 - 3 years in Database Administration

Pay Range Minimum:

$57,700.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$107,800.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.  The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
