Summary of Role:
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a centralized data repository or data lake.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a centralized data repository or data lake. Integrate data from different systems, databases, and sources to create a unified and comprehensive view of the company's data. Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data. Work with big data technologies to process and analyze large volumes of data efficiently. Develop and maintain data models, including both logical and physical models, to support data storage and retrieval needs. Establish data governance practices, including data security, access control, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the successful execution of data engineering projects. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, business data users and other stakeholders and subject matter experts to optimize data product quality, reusability and benefits. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering team. Maintain documentation of data engineering processes, data lineage, and data flow diagrams. Analyze data to derive business relevant insights, derive data quality and ETL performance and communicate findings to stakeholders. Design product elements, provide data architecture in architecture and sequence diagrams, review and establish entity relationship diagrams, document design specifications. Debug and fix problems in deployed solutions. Participate in analyzing customer requirements and reviewing code. Have ownership of assigned work items (quality, timeline) but also mentor and drive build dev team. Provide technical advice on system architecture, design, and lead team developing data product components up to major platform elements. Up to 20% of domestic and international travel to Germany, Singapore, India and Malaysia to liaise with IT and business teams on requirements and roadmap and to participate in business workshops.
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
· Education – Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Electronics & Communications Engineering or closely related field of study.
· Experience – 6 years of postbaccalaureate experience in job offered, or any Data Engineering related job titles. Requires 6 years of experience in: (1) ETL Framework for development of semiconductor related data processing and data warehousing (Ab Initio or PySpark, SQL, Python, parquet, avro, iceberg); (2) large-scale data analytics, business intelligence (BI) workloads management, Migrating Data and Analytics workload to the Cloud AWS (Redshift, EMR, AIRFlow, Postgres, S3, Lambda, Stepfunction); (3) designing solution architecture which requires the interactions of many sources, business rules and multiple downstream systems (sequence diagrams, entity-relationship-diagrams, data governance); (4) Oracle or SAP knowledge for corporate master data management and working with business teams to understand their data requirements for finance, procurement, supply, pricing, quality, order fulfillment; (5) Project management and reporting with Agile methodologies, using Jira or ADO, experience on Sr Mgmt presentation.
Salary range: $148,741–$167,000/year

Salary range: $148,741–$167,000/year
