  • Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Platform Administrator to manage and support our Snowflake data platform and Tableau analytics environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in platform administration, performance tuning, user and role management, and ensuring security and operational efficiency across both platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Snowflake Administration: Manage Snowflake accounts, users, roles, and privileges in accordance with security best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse performance and costs.
  • Handle data ingestion pipelines, integrations, and automation tasks.
  • Implement and manage resource monitors and alerts.
  • Maintain backups, cloning, and data retention policies.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and audit requirements.
  • Tableau Administration: Manage Tableau Server/Cloud environment, including user access, groups, sites, and permissions.
  • Monitor server performance and manage upgrades and patching schedules.
  • Support content deployment, versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with BI developers to manage workbooks, data sources, and published dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to dashboard performance, data connections, and extract refreshes.

  • Qualifications: Required: 5+ years of experience in platform or system administration, with a focus on Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with Tableau Server/Cloud (deployment, configuration, and support).
  • Familiarity with security models, access control, and data governance.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Preferred: Experience with automation tools (e.g., Python, DBT, Airflow). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git). Exposure to other BI tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Snowflake and Tableau certifications are a plus
