What you'll be doing 

As part of our fast-moving and forward-thinking team, you'll play a key role in developing and experimenting with cutting-edge AI solutions that power our platform. You’ll work across disciplines to build prototypes, shape tools, and help deliver production-ready systems. From prompt engineering to AI assurance, you'll be hands-on with the latest technologies, applying both creative thinking and technical rigour to solve real-world challenges.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build and test AI-driven product features. You’ll design and implement solutions using Generative AI using Evaluation Driven Development, operating on the forefront of best practices in a rapidly evolving industry. A key part of your work will also involve contributing to our AI assurance efforts, helping to ensure that our systems are transparent, ethical, and high-performing.

You will be supported by a team that values curiosity and experimentation, encouraging you to continuously learn, share insights, and evolve your craft as you help shape the future of AI-powered hiring solutions.

Requirements

• Proactive mindset: You're a builder by nature - you’ve worked on your own projects and can show us what you've made.
• Curiosity & critical thinking: You ask "why" and challenge assumptions - especially important in working with AI tools.
• Strong Python skills, including experience with:
• Pandas and other relevant libraries 
• Jupyter Notebooks
• Git version control
• Writing clean, PEP-8 compliant code
• AI Literacy: Experience building with AI tools and frameworks (e.g. OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of prompt engineering and the principles of fine-tuning and model evaluation.
• Communication skills: Ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Agility: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
• Academic or personal excellence: Whether through formal education, awards, sports, music, or other achievements, you’ve shown a track record of commitment and success.
• A degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience): While we don’t usually focus heavily on formal education, this role involves a high degree of technical and scientific reasoning, so a strong academic foundation in a STEM field will really help you hit the ground running.
