Your Job
Build AI-Powered Tools: Develop Python-based tools and services using modern frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Langchain, Streamlit, Gradio, Sentence Transformers, G-Eval) that supercharge Statista’s data research and modeling.
Design Autonomous AI Agents: Create and deploy AI agent networks for complex, large-scale market forecasting (quantitative & qualitative), automating research and analysis pipelines.
Cloud & API Infrastructure: Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for hosting AI services, agents, and APIs (AWS ECS, EC2, EKS a plus).
Process Automation: Analyze and optimize data/content workflows, proactively identifying automation opportunities.
Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of AI/ML innovation—adopting new tools, models, and best practices to keep Statista’s tech stack ahead of the curve.
Your skills
Python Automation & AI Tools: Experience building production apps with Python, utilizing frameworks like FastAPI/Flask, Langchain, G-Eval, Streamlit/Gradio.
AI & ML Concepts: Exposure to prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), foundational models (pros, cons, evaluation), and output assessment.
Infrastructure: Proficiency with containers (Docker), workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow), and version control (Git)—IaC is a strong plus.
Cloud: Hands-on with AWS services (ECS, EC2, EKS preferred) and scalable cloud architecture.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English; able to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bonus Skills
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with advanced MLOps, DevOps, or data engineering practices.
