What You'll DoĀ 

As a Data Technician at Maneva, you'll be responsible in monitoring, reporting, and providing correctional feedback of our AI systems' data quality and operational performance. You will ensure the integrity of our machine learning datasets, monitor production applications for anomalies, and serve as the critical bridge between our engineering team, external annotators, and customer success operations. From reviewing edge cases in computer vision datasets to curating data for training processes for customer applications, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high-quality data that powers our AI solutions.Ā 

This role combines data analysis, quality assurance, and operational support. You'll work closely with annotators to improve data quality, monitor live production systems for performance issues, and collaborate with customer success teams to ensure smooth operations across manufacturing deployments.Ā 

Location: Remote


Compensation: Entry-level pay band; compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience and skills within this band.

Note: This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without a university degree. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those with vocational training, hands-on experience, or self-taught technical skills.

Requirements

Key ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Review and validate annotated datasets daily, identifying edge cases and inconsistencies that require domain expertise to resolve correctlyĀ 
  • Interface with external annotation contractors, providing feedback on data quality and updating annotation instructions to improve accuracy and consistencyĀ 
  • Conduct systematic reviews of existing datasets to identify missed or inconsistent annotations, ensuring high-quality training data for AI modelsĀ 
  • Monitor production applications for performance anomalies, downtime, and output quality issues, escalating technical concerns to the engineering teamĀ 
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to obtain production schedules and manage SKU training processes for new product variationsĀ 
  • Respond to customer support requests via phone calls and online ticketing systems, providing first-line technical assistanceĀ 
  • Maintain operational awareness of deployed applications, alerting for unusual prediction patterns or system behaviorĀ 
  • Support alert management and follow-up on Grafana notifications, ensuring proper documentation and cleanup of operational ticketsĀ 
  • Document data quality issues, system performance observations, and process improvements for internal knowledge sharingĀ 
  • Assist with data curation workflows and maintain organized datasets for ongoing model training and validationĀ 

What We're Looking ForĀ 

Must-HavesĀ 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and anomalies in large datasetsĀ 
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with external contractors and internal stakeholdersĀ 
  • Proficiency with computer usage and general technical troubleshooting abilitiesĀ 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent data review tasksĀ 
  • Customer service orientation with experience handling support requestsĀ 

Nice-to-HavesĀ 

  • Experience with SQL and basic programming skills (Python preferred)Ā 
  • Experience in computer vision, machine learning data annotationĀ 
  • Familiarity with data annotation tools and processesĀ 
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Grafana, JIRA, or similar)Ā 
  • Experience working with external vendors or contractorsĀ 
  • Background in technical support or customer success rolesĀ 
  • Understanding of AI/ML model training and validation processesĀ
