Why this job matters
This role will collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to analyse trends, generate monthly reports on key Talent Acquisition metrics, and provide analysis to various internal audiences. As we transition to a more mature operating model in TA, analytics will be crucial in shaping the future of TA at BT Group and supporting key activities such as our Inclusion & Diversity ambitions and internal mobility programs.
A primary responsibility of this role is to conduct in-depth analyses, offering insights into various TA initiatives impacting the business. Additionally, you will provide support with current data solutions, delivering KPIs, reports, and valuable insights to the Talent Acquisition and HR teams, as well as HR business partners. This role plays a vital role in leveraging insights from our Talent Acquisition data to drive strategic decision-making, enhancing our recruitment processes, and overall capability.
What you’ll be doing
•Deliver insights to key decision-makers through reporting and analysis, ultimately driving action.
•Translate data into insights using impactful visualisations and harness the power of storytelling to influence.
•Utilise data-driven techniques to influence HR strategies and business initiatives, with a particular focus on Talent Acquisition domains, such as recruitment requisitions, hiring, pipeline diversity, experience, compliance, internal mobility, etc.
•Leverage different types of HR data from various systems for analysis, including Headcount, Attrition, Hiring & Recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion, and Sentiment.
•Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can influence people and business-related priorities.
•Deliver cadenced reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) to support key operational and business rhythms (e.g., Rewards, Annual Engagement Survey, Quarterly Business Reviews).
•Monitor and deliver ad hoc reporting through our "front door" request management tool, ensuring timely responses for requests related to reporting and analytics from key business partners.

Skills and experience
•Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis or experience with other data analysis tools to manipulate large volumes of data.
•Experience in utilising Talent Acquisition data to derive insights and influence decision-makers.
•Strong skills in presenting and visualising data to effectively communicate insights.
•Experience using storytelling to present analyses in visually compelling and easily understandable formats.
•Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with HR and business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and identifying opportunities where data-driven insights can influence people-related priorities and business outcomes.
•Ability to articulate technical complexity in simple and compelling messaging.
