As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing LLM and GPT-based applications, fine-tuning LLMs, and developing in-house RAG frameworks to handle unstructured data. You will evaluate these frameworks and enhance the AI capabilities across the company. 

This role involves working closely with senior business stakeholders, coordinating with cloud infrastructure teams, and leading GenAI projects. You will also play a key role in building the GenAI infrastructure on the cloud and streamlining AI application deployment across the organization.  

Major Responsibilities   

  • Lead and drive the development, fine-tuning, and evaluation of LLM and GPT-based applications. 
  • Fine-tune LLM models to improve performance. 
  • Develop and maintain in-house RAG frameworks for handling unstructured data. 
  • Architect, implement, and optimize custom in-house RAG frameworks for unstructured and multi-modal data processing 
  • Build and maintain GenAI infrastructure on the cloud, with a focus on Azure. 
  • Streamline AI application deployment across the organization. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices. 
  • Implement vectorization and embedding techniques for various AI applications. 
  • Work on multi-modal AI projects and integrate multi-modal capabilities into existing frameworks. 
  • Drive robust model governance, traceability, observability, and compliance (e.g., Responsible AI, AI risk management) 
  • Serve as an AI thought leader across the business, presenting experimental results and recommendations to C-level stakeholders 
  • Mentor, review code, and share knowledge with other engineers 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields. 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in advanced AI/ML engineering, including production-scale GenAI projects. 
  • Demonstrated expertise with GPT models, RAG, Langchain, Langgraph, and AzureML. 
  • Strong experience with Python and related libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). 
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of vectorization and embedding techniques. 
  • Experience with multi-modal AI technologies. 
  • Experience with Windows Azure for AI and machine learning deployments. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 
  • Active GitHub contributor is highly appreciated.
