Applied Scientist Intern

Bridgestone Mobility Solutions is looking for passionate graduate students to join our Customer Success Central Quality Team in our office in Amsterdam. You will work alongside Solution Architects and Service Delivery Managers on cutting-edge customer-facing platforms utilizing state-of-the-art technologies. 

Your Day-to-Day:  

As an Applied Scientist Intern in the Customer Operations Department, you will be collaborating for developing the core AI/ML capabilities to power the Operational procedural & product landscape to help our customers to drive their journey to digital resiliency. You will work on diverse projects that span Customer Operations process and platform design as well as Agent Assist Technologies, applying advanced machine learning techniques to solve complex problems and drive innovation.

• Develop core AI/ML models and algorithms that drive our customer facing use cases in the domains.

• Develop and refine use case conversational models using our Agentforce platforms

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate generative AI solutions into our products and services.

• Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in the field of AI/ML and ensure that these advancements are properly influence our technology roadmap.

• Knowledge on Frameworks like CrewAI / AutoGen

• First touch on different techniques regarding prompt chaining and evaluation of such

• Awareness on privacy regulation and ethical handling of data

Who are we looking for?  

• Bachelor's Engineering, Computer Science or Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.

• Be studying for a master’s degree in computer science

• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and experience with popular frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python.

• Experience working with Generative AI technology and Large Language Models (LLM) or time series analysis and anomaly detection in projects or internships.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
