The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Data Management Specialist to join our B-1 Document Quality Assurance Team located in Oklahoma City, OK
The B-1 Lancer is a supersonic warfighter used by the Air Force and is one of three types of Bombers in the fleet. This position will be on the B-1 Bomber PLM team supporting the Software Block Sustainment Programs, developing software upgrades for the B-1 with the most up-to-date and advanced technology in the world. The position will be located primarily on Tinker AFB and will require mandatory overtime
Position Responsibilities
- Assists with activities to identify and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
- Assists with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
- Supports the monitoring of adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
- Supports certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
- Works general supervision.
This position is 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)
- 1+ years of experience with documentation, processes, common practices and techniques.
- 1+ years of experience in the use of tools such as Microsoft Word to develop and properly format technical documentation to meet a standard.
- 1+ years of experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets).
- 1+ years of experience in summarizing and/or reviewing documentation to develop informational or technical materials.
- 1+ years of experience applying proper writing mechanics, grammar, and punctuation to reports, essays, or other detailed writings.
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Final U.S. Secret clearance.
- Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams.
- Experience managing high level projects for Senior Leadership and Customers.
- 1+ years of experience in Configuration Management/Data Management.
