OpenLoop is looking for a CMA Performance and Data Manager to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting for our Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) team. This role is critical to driving operational efficiency, supporting staff development, and improving overall service quality. By introducing structured performance oversight and data-driven decision-making, this position will play a key role in elevating the effectiveness of both the CMA team and the broader organization.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and evaluate daily CMA performance metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with CMA supervisors, trainers, and leadership to recommend and implement data-driven performance enhancement strategies.
- Lead root cause analyses of recurring performance or process challenges, proposing practical solutions to address underlying issues.
- Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and consistent performance reporting tools and dashboards.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all performance data used in reporting and decision-making.
- Present actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and visually compelling format.
- Support ongoing efforts to optimize CMA workflows and align operational outcomes with business goals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of staff development processes through targeted performance insights.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, performance management, or data analytics.
- Familiarity with CMA roles and workflows in clinical or managed care settings preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Proven ability to analyze large data sets, identify performance drivers, and make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data into clear, business-relevant insights.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
