As a Senior Data Analyst (Risk) at Funding Societies, you'll sit at the intersection of Business and Data, working closely with our Risk and Credit teams to unlock insights, improve decision-making, and shape the future of credit risk management.

What you will do:
- Monitor and analyse credit risk performance across Group and country-level portfolios, identifying trends, anomalies, and emerging risks.
- Collaborate closely with credit teams to understand and analyse customer repayment behavior, delinquency patterns, and loss drivers.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and deep-dive analyses to support business and risk decisions, and confidently findings to cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.
- Design, develop, and maintain self-service credit risk dashboards, reports, and other analytical infrastructure to support scalable and timely risk monitoring.
- Work with data engineers to define requirements for data pipelines and ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of key data assets for analysis.
- Support the automation of recurring reports and workflows to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in the creation and enhancement of new risk metrics and analytical methodologies, including segmentation strategies and performance tracking.
- Contribute to portfolio-level analysis related to ECL, vintage curves, and risk segmentation, supporting regulatory and internal forecasting requirements.
- Ensure alignment of analytics with data governance, compliance, and model risk management standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management, or data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).
- Proven experience in financial statement analysis, credit risk scoring, cohort performance analysis, and other risk assessment techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. IFRS 9, Basel II/III) and best practices in risk governance and reporting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional projects and engaging with senior leadership to translate data insights into actionable business decisions.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and working with large datasets.
- Experience in dashboard development, report automation, and driving data quality improvements is a plus.
- CFA, FRM, or Chartered Banker certifications are an added advantage.
