Are you someone who can:

• Annual Earn Rule Change Modelling (ERC) Support
  Contribute to the annual ERC modelling process by reviewing methodologies and providing analytical support. Collaborate with the broader Financial Management (FM) team to finalize comprehensive “all-in cost” models.
• Model Inputs & Scenario Analysis
  Provide detailed inputs for ERC modelled figures, including base assumptions and trend analyses. Develop and document insights supporting low and high scenario projections.
• Monthly Cost Analysis & Reforecasting
  Build and maintain monthly cost tracking models aligned to initial ERC inputs. Assist in monthly cost reforecasting by analyzing performance variances against original estimates.
• Funding Splits & Variance Analysis
  Execute monthly funding splits across subsegments. Perform variance analysis to identify and investigate significant shifts in cost distribution.
• Cost Alignment & Reconciliation
  Monitor and reconcile total costs per reward type and segment (from RE tables) against General Ledger (GL) costs. Ensure alignment of funding split costs with GL-reported figures.
• Volume Tracking & Analysis
  Run monthly volume reports for key brands including Costec, Slow, Kauai, Wimpy on the Go, Entertainer, and Starbucks. Conduct variance analysis to explain month-on-month and forecast deviations prior to segmentation.
• Segment & Product House Support
  Provide analytical support and insights for segment and product house queries. Identify and communicate emerging trends.
• Customer Profitability Project
  Support the customer profitability initiative by resolving outstanding issues, developing customer-level models for remaining value-adds, and integrating customer-level data into FRM tables.
• Finance Business Case Development
  Assist in the preparation and analysis of finance-related business cases, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Ad Hoc Financial Support
  Respond to various ad hoc finance requests, delivering timely and accurate analysis as required.

Core Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAS (or SQL/Python/R) coding and data manipulation
• Proficiency in Excel (VBA not necessary but advantageous)
• Proficiency in Word and Powerpoint
• Ability to build new models as well as make improvements to existing processes

Personal Attributes:

• Good communication skills
• Able to solve complex analytical problems
• High level of Business acumen
• Able to apply analytical solutions to business problems
• Positive can-do attitude

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Qualifications: Actuarial, Data Science or Quantitative degree (honours preferable)
• Experience: 3-4 years relevant experience in a Data Science, Actuarial or Quant environment
