The Sr. Manager, Vx Data Governance and Enablement will own and oversee the suite of Products essential to the success of Vaccines Data Strategy, including

  • Vaccelerator Data Community SharePoint Site
  • Vaccines Data Training Curriculum
  • Vx Data Governance
  • U.S. Vaccines Tableau Site
  • Vx Data Stewardship
  • Vx Data Tech Stack

This role will partner closely with key stakeholders across Data Strategy & Management (DSM), Performance Analytics & Insights (PAI), Digital, Master Data Management and third-party vendors to propel U.S. Vaccines past all competition by pioneering unrivaled data, analytics and AI that boldly redefine best-in-class and relentlessly advance adoption of and access to life-saving vaccines.  The ideal candidate brings a strong consultative mindset, commercial analytics domain expertise, and the ability to influence and drive innovation through agile, data-driven practices.

Primary:

  • Data Education and Training: Manage the data knowledge base for Vx Commercial data using the Vaccelerator platform, ensuring that it is user-friendly and accessible to all team members.  Develop and deliver educational materials and training sessions to enhance data fluency across the team. Maintain a library of communications, training material, and recorded sessions to support ongoing learning and development and increase the analytics maturity of the U.S. Commercial Vx BU.
  • Data Governance: Oversee the establishment and maintenance of data standards, ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations. Lead the Vx Data Governance Council, providing strategic alignment on data and analytics across the U.S. Commercial Vx BU and supporting functions

Secondary:

  • Data Enablement and Access: Facilitate access to data through Tableau Self-Service and Data Depot, enabling users to leverage data assets effectively.  Maintain platform availability and scale tools to provide access to new data assets.
  • Data Stewardship: Lead the Vx customer data stewardship in close partnership with Digital MDM and Vx BU stakeholders to ensure customer data is of the highest quality to enable customer contracting discounts, customer reporting, segmentation and targeting, etc.
  • Innovation: Pioneer new capabilities using Gen AI and other advancements in the AI space to enable lightspeed decision making across the U.S. Commercial Vx BU.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA required, MS preferred, relevant fields include but are not necessarily limited to operations research, data science, statistics or computer programming
  • 6+ years (BA) or 5+ years (MS) of experience in data strategy, data management and/or commercial analytics, ideally in the biopharma or healthcare industry
  • Deep understanding of key data types/sources used for vaccines commercial analytics
  • Robust knowledge of core data integration and data model design approaches
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning business and technical teams to deliver complex data solutions
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs and analytical approaches into data strategies and solutions
  • Experience in partnering with Digital/IT functions to implement robust, production-level data solutions

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
