As we evolve, our focus remains on enhancing these offerings and developing innovative products and services to redefine the pet health experience.
Koala Health is seeking an experienced Data Analyst, Growth to lead revenue, and commercial planning, and growth analytics. In this role, you will report to the CFO, and work closely to develop and integrate revenue and sales forecasts into company-wide planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. You will act as a key business partner to the CFO, CRO, and cross-functional teams, delivering actionable insights that guide topline planning and marketing efficiency, while also measuring customer impact to support senior decision-making. 

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Sales, Product teams to deliver data-driven analyses that shape business decisions and growth strategies.
  • Lead revenue, pricing, and support marketing planning processes, providing key financial inputs and recommendations.
  • Manage the S&OP process, integrating revenue and sales planning into overall company forecasting in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Conduct detailed opportunity sizing for growth opportunities including products, promotional campaigns, and feature launches.
  • Develop, monitor, and invent business metrics to measure success and proactively report on business performance.
  • Perform regular pricing strategy assessments, including competitive and industry benchmarking.
  • Analyze commercial opportunities, supporting the assessment and execution of promotions, pricing changes, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Establish and optimize BI reporting and dashboards, with an emphasis on Looker, to surface actionable business insights.
  • Evaluate and report on outcomes of business and product tests to maximize customer impact and business results.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc financial analyses, forecasts, and variance reports; communicate key findings to executive leadership.
  • Support continuous process improvement and drive automation across commercial and operational teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial strategy, finance, analytics, or business operations, preferably in high-growth or consumer-focused environments.
  • Proven ability to build and interpret complex financial and operational reports that influence decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with revenue planning, forecasting, and marketing analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; proficiency with BI tools (including Looker or similar).
  • Effective communicator - able to distill complex findings for both executive and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of independently partnering with and influencing business units.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguous or fast-paced assignments, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with ERP systems and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with business intelligence.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and process automation.
  • Experience in healthcare, e-commerce, or a B2C environment.
  • MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
