Join our diverse, multicultural Data & Analytics team as an Analytical Engineer, where you'll build scalable data solutions in a modern Azure–Databricks environment to power smarter decisions across the organization.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Databricks (PySpark, SQL) and Delta Lake
- Develop semantic models and curated tables in Unity Catalog for self-service analytics (e.g. Power BI)
- Translate business and analyst needs into efficient, scalable data models
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and testing to ensure trust in datasets
- Optimize the full data lifecycle from ingestion to reporting
- Apply best practices in version control (Git) and CI/CD for pipelines
- Document data definitions, transformations, and lineage for transparency
- Shape platform strategy on architecture, modeling standards, and access management.
What you bring
Experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Min. 2 years of experience in analytical or data engineering, with strong skills in SQL, dbt, PySpark/Python, and cloud data platforms like Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Delta Lake
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and experience with tools like Power BI and Unity Catalog
- Proficient in Git, CI/CD practices, and performance tuning for cost-effective, scalable solutions.
