You will be responsible to:
The IT Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for defining and executing the data analytics strategy at Hovione. This role leads a team of data professionals and oversees the development and implementation of data platforms, analytics tools, and AI-driven solutions to support business decision-making and digital transformation.
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the data analytics roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact data initiatives.
Data Analytics & AI Enablement
- Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and AI to optimize business processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility across domains.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE, and internal policies.
Project & Change Management
- Lead large-scale data platform implementations and integrations.
- Manage change initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
Vendor & Budget Oversight
- Manage relationships with software vendors and analytics partners.
- Develop and oversee the IT budget for data initiatives.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization using AI.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in data science and enterprise systems.
People Management
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team.
- Align team objectives with Hovione’s strategic goals and values.
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 7+ years in IT leadership roles, with 3+ years focused on data and analytics.
- Proven experience managing global data and AI/ML platforms.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in data analytics and BI tools (e.g., AWS Quicksight).
- Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, and Compliance.
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise solutions and modern data architectures.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
