Zurich North America is hiring a National Accounts Data Analytics Specialist to join our Portfolio Insights Team in our Schaumburg office. We are open to hiring talent located within a commutable distance of our Schaumburg office location to benefit from our flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Collect data from centralized sources of truth to support various BU analyses & data supported publications, ensuring consistency and standardization in visualization
- Deliver data and insights to track strategies and perform deep-dives to support day to day business needs
- Answer targeted business questions as they arise on a quick turn-around basis
- Look externally to research primary data sources, select relevant information, and continually evaluate key themes in technology
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics and 2 or more years of experience in the transforming data and developing insights for use in business decision area
OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent in Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics and 4 or more years of experience in the transforming data and developing insights for use in business decision area
OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics and 2 or more years of experience in the transforming data and developing insights for use in business decision area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL to extract data
- Working knowledge of Python, R, or other statistical package to transform and analyze data
- Can successfully translate loosely defined business problems into an analytically tractable form
- Has successfully delivered actionable business insights on a quick turn-around basis
- Experience working with stakeholders to develop strategy and vision around the ways data and analytics can be leveraged to create value for the business

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $71,100.00 - $116,500.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
