Role Overview:

Abwaab is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Data Specialist to lead data-driven initiatives that power product decisions, improve user engagement, and guide strategic planning.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, business intuition, and experience translating data into actionable insights in a digital product or platform setting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to provide insights into user behavior, learning patterns, and platform performance.

• Design, run, and optimize dashboards and automated reporting tools for internal teams.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to support data needs and experiments.

• Define KPIs, measure product features and campaigns, and interpret performance outcomes.

• Work with engineers to ensure clean and structured data collection pipelines.

• Use data to recommend improvements across the user journey, from onboarding to retention.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role — ideally within tech, SaaS, or EdTech.

• Strong command of SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau).

• Experience with Python or R is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with educational platforms and digital learning products.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
