Data Analytics & ReportingThe Marketing Operations Data Lead oversees the data management solutions for the marketing operations team; which, in turn, enables marketing across the organization.
The Data Lead will work collaboratively with internal business partners to understand project requirements as needed. With requirements established, they implement both the processes and systems required to fulfill on these requirements within our marketing technology software applications.
More broadly, this role will act as the organization's subject matter expert for data management in a marketing technology setting, advising marketing and analytics teams as needed.
The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Design and develop data storage models and pipelines to flow data from source to activation within marketing technology applications
- Monitor and report on compliance with all relevant privacy policies (ie. CASL)
- Influence design of customer marketing programs through guidance on optimal data activation strategies
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience working in data-oriented technical settings; preference for those with experience supporting digital marketing or product
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and Spark for data management
- Knowledge of ETL and data modelling activities for both streaming and batch data sources
- Familiarity with AWS tools and/or other enterprise cloud platforms
- Strong preference for candidates with Adobe Experience Platform experience
Salary:
$61,600.00 - $113,900.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES’ expected target for the first year in this position.
AIR MILES’ total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
