We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Procurement Data Analyst - AVP to join our Manila-based Procurement team. This role is pivotal in supporting DWS’s procurement strategy through data-driven insights, risk-aware analytics, and process automation. The successful candidate will work closely with category management, TPRM, and finance teams to ensure transparency, efficiency, and regulatory alignment in third-party spend and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement operations and third-party spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier risks, and operational inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to support DWS Procurement Operations.
- Collaborate with global procurement, TPRM, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., vendor due diligence, outsourcing guidelines).
- Lead automation initiatives using Microsoft PowerAutomate and other tools to streamline procurement workflows, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Monitor adherence to procurement policies, risk frameworks, and financial controls in line with regulations and internal audit standards.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership and contribute to procurement transformation initiatives across the bank.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement operations, procurement analytics, or vendor management, preferably within a banking or financial services environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau; experience with PowerAutomate or similar automation tools is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes within the finance industry, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., BSP, MAS, or global outsourcing guidelines).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Amenable to mid-shift schedule – 2pm to 11pm
