More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Data Management Specialist in Pila with Signify. You will interact with various departments from the factory, R&D, product management, and more around Europe, learn new skills, and grow your career. Your work will make a huge and high-tech impact not only for the organization but more importantly, for the end users of our products!

In this role, you will be responsible for the product and technical data management within SAP, working as part of the Factory Development Department's Data Management Specialist team. Strong data management skills are essential and should come naturally to you!

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain product data and costing information in SAP, including creating smart products configurators and unique material codes for finished goods and components

• Ensure high-quality, error-free product data entry and secure product data upload to different cloud systems

• Support end-of-life processes by cleaning and phasing out obsolete product and component data

• Participate in and lead at least one data management improvement project per year

• Calculate and update standard prices for new and existing products, including quarterly price updates

• Support business with deal and pricing analysis, providing data-driven insights and suggestions for cost improvement

• Collaborate with product management and product engineers in New Product Introduction projects

• Contribute to the central data engineering community and participate in cross-factory projects

• The ideal educational background combines finance, economics, and IT/programming

• Appropriate skills of data management (SAP, Excel, etc..)is a mandatory requirement for this role

• Understanding of data conceptualization and IT applications

• Ability to work with and analyze data, including product data management and costing

• Knowledge of cost accounting concepts and techniques

• Positive attitude towards high workload and fast-paced changes

• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

• Confidence and eagerness to learn quickly

• Proficiency in both English and Polish is required for this role
